Prime Minsiter KP Oli, who is heading to New Delhi on an official visit on Friday, has said that a political committee to review provincial boundaries will be formed before his visit.
Addressing the Parliament on Tuesday to inform the House about his India visit, Oli said that the constitution was not an unchangeable document. He added that the constitution can be amended to review the demarcation of federal boundaries.
The ruling alliance and the agitating Madheshi Morcha are said to have been close to a deal to address the demands of the protesters. Sources say that the deal will be signed soon.
