Kathmandu, July 1
Mangal Siddhi Manandhar, leader of Federal Socialist Forum Nepal and former minister, died of heart attack at 10.45 am on Friday. He was 75.
Rajendra Shrestha, forum leader, said Manandhar breathed his last in course of treatment at Norvic Hospital.
Two months ago, Manandhar had undergone cancer treatment at Rajiv Gandhi Hospital.
Manandhar is survived by wife, two sons and a daughter.
Manandhar, a former vice-chairperson of the National Planning Commission, was working as chief of the forum’s advisory committee.
