Kathmandu, July 3
A jeep numbered Ba 13 Cha 6640 hit and killed Suman Chaulagain (18) of Sindhupalchok at Sallaghari, Bhaktapur municipality-17, on Sunday. Police said Chaulagain, who used to live in Kamalbinayak, Bhaktapur-4, died in course of treatment at Madhyapur Hospital.
Chaulagain’s body has been sent to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj for a post-mortem.
Police have taken the driver, Bishal Pradhan (24) of Sauvas, Kavre, under control for investigation and impounded the vehicle involved.
