Kathmandu, July 21

Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party has ordered its MPs not to leave Parliament Premises until the day’s House proceedings conclude.

The principal opposition party, along with the Prachanda-led Maoist Centre, filed a motion of no confidence against Prime Minister Oli last week. The motion is to be discussed in Parliament today.

At a meeting of the party inside Parliament, Congress chief Sher Bahadur Deuba also cautioned MPs to abide by the decision taken by the party when voting on the no-confidence motion.

Two Congress MPs  had gone ‘missing’ during the Prime Ministerial election in September last year. “There shall be no excuse this time,” the party has told its MPs.
