Kathmandu, July 28
Seven people, including a former Minister of State, were killed as a bus fell off the road near Pariwadin village in Dhankuta, eastern Nepal, on Thursday.
The bus (Ba 2 Kha 7366) was headed to Dharan from Sankuwasabha’s Mudesanischare when the accident happened at around 12:15 pm, local police said.
Former Minister of State of Finance Hariraj Khewas was among the seven killed on the spot. The identities of the other six have not been established yet. However, police said, two of the dead are men, three are women and one is a minor.
Around 30-40 people were injured in the accident, police said.
