Chitwan, July 29
Landslides at Kalikhola, Chitwan district, have brought traffic movement to a halt along the Narayangadh-Mugling road. Movement of vehicles has stopped completely along the road since 6 am on Friday after landslides occurred at Kalikhola, police informed.
Because of the disaster, vehicles headed for Kathmandu from Narayangadh and those headed for Narayangadh from Kathmandu, Pokhara and other places remain stuck on the road.
Incessant rains have posed a problem on the removal of landslide debris, police said. They informed that dozer and excavator have been sent from Mugling and Bharatpur to remove the debris.
