Kathmandu, July 1
Supporters of Dr Govinda KC, who has been waging a non-violent struggle seeking reforms in Nepal’s medical sector, have urged Lok Man Singh Karki, chief commissioner at the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority, to furnish details of his property.
The activists submitted letters to the constitutional anti-corruption agency on Sunday, calling the latter to furnish the details of Karki’s property.
Dr KC has been demanding lawmakers to table an impeachment motion against Karki, accusing him of involvement in irregularities, specifically in the medical sector.
Kedar Sibakoti and other applicants demanded that the CIAA inform whether Karki has furnished property details or not. If Karki has not, CIAA should furnish his property details, they maintained.
