Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Bimalendra Nidhi thinks the main opposition CPN-UML does not know much about diplomacy.
DPM Nidhi, speaking at a programme organised in Kathmandu on Thursday, said the UML, by demanding that the government make the letter that Nepal PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ sent to his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi public, has shown it knows nothing about diplomatic conduct.
In diplomacy, there’s no such practice that requires countries to make communications that have taken place between them public.

Further, Nidhi claimed the letter has made no mention of Constitution amendment, adding that the UML, which has ruled the country more than once, has shown diplomatic immaturity by making the letter an agenda of its standing committee meeting.
