Kathmandu, September 6
The government is providing provide five lakh rupees to ultra runner Mira Rai for her medical treatment.
Rai, injured in course of a competition, is undergoing treatment in Verona, Italy. Tribhuvan Poudel, press coordinator of Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara, said they have given a nod for providing the sum to Rai.
The ultra runner will get the money once the Council of Minister takes a formal decision.
