Kathmandu, September 21
Nepal’s Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal says perpetrators of heinous crimes will be punished in accordance with the law.
Prachanda, who was speaking at a programme in Kathamandu to mark the International Peace Day, said the government was committed to transitional justice, reconciliation and post-conflict reconstruction in Nepal. “Our party does not want to promote impunity in any way,” he said.
The Prime Minister said major components of the peace process such as the management of arms and armies had been completed. Now it is time to complete the peace process as a whole, he added.
