Kathmandu, September 27
Former Home Minister Madhav Prasad Ghimire, and two others who were on board a jeep that plunged into the Trishuli river around 100 km east of Kathmandu on Sunday, remain missing, local authorities say.
As authorities continue to look for Ghimire and his brothers Prakash and Mohan, as divers were called in to intensify the search. Home Minister Bimalendra Nidhi, along with IGP Upendrakant Aryal, APF chief Durja Kumar Rai and Department of Investigation head Dilip Regmi visited the scene of the accident early on Tuesday.
The team also took stock of the search operation and inspected the area on a chopper.
More than 200 security personnel have been deployed in the operation.
