Makwanpur, October 2
Three people died and 31 got injured when a passenger bus met with an accident at Makari, Handikhola-2, Makwanpur district, on Sunday.
Surya Bahadur Lama (30) of Handikhola-2, Pranish Lamichhane (4), and an unidentified woman died when the bus numbered Na 4 Kha 4307, bound for Handikhola from Hetaunda, met with an accident, police said.
Police suspect that the accident occurred because the bus was carrying passengers beyond capacity. The injured passengers are receiving treatment at Chure Hill Hospital.
