Kathmandu, August 24
Applications are called for two entrepreneurship development programmes from Nepali emerging and aspiring entrepreneurs.
Organising a special function in Kathmandu yesterday, Accelerator Nepal announced the call for applications for Rockstart Nepal Programme and I-Cube Incubation Programme.
Rockstart Impact and Nepal Communitere will run the two programmes respectively whereas the British Department for International Development will also support them.
“This UK aid-funded collaboration will focus on business incubation and acceleration, actively nurturing and supporting high potential companies for growth, via incubation, acceleration and investment,” the organiser informed in a statement.
The deadline to apply for both the programmes is October 5 midnight.
Out of all the applicants, 22 companies will be selected in total for the entrepreneurship development programmes.
“These companies will be divided in two groups: 10 will go to the 100-day acceleration programme Rockstart Impact, whereas the other 12 companies will be incubated for a year at Nepal Communitere’s I-Cube incubation programme, before joining the pipeline of companies for further business development and/or investment.”
