Rukum, July 18
At least four persons died when a jeep carrying passengers met with an accident in Dharapani, Sisne Rural Municipality-5 of Rukum East district of Province 5, on Wednesday afternoon.
The District Police Office says the four wheeler (Lu 1 Ja 2573) fell around 100 metres down the road from a cliff. There were around 10 passengers.
The Office says police have been sent to the incident site for the rescue operation and the death toll may rise.
DSP Prabin Lal Shrestha informed Onlinekhabar from the incident side that rescue operation is underway.
