Nepal Communist Party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal says medical education reform activist Dr Govinda KC is being ‘used’ to fuel anarchy in the country.
Speaking with journalists close to his party at the party headquarters in Dhumbarahi today, Dahal said the senior orthopaedic surgeon was being mobilised to create a situation against the unification of two communist parties into one and the government led by it.
“They do not like the communist parties winning the elections and forming a two thirds majority government. Neither do they like our unification,” he said, “Therefore, they made up stories against us and mobilised media to create illusions and vilify us.”
The former prime minister maintained that his party would not compromise with any side for the protection of this government and party. He said the cadres would be mobilised for that.
“Let us defend ourselves unitedly,” he said.
