Nepal’s health officials have said they have confirmed two new coronavirus cases in the country on Friday. With this, the number of Covid-19 patients in the country has reached 59.
An official in the Ministry of Health and Population informs that a 25-year-old man in Rupandehi and another 60-year-old man in Banke districts of Province 5 tested positive for the virus. Both are said to be out of danger now.
This is the first time that the province reported any Covid-19 case.
Of 59 Covid-19 patients in the country, 16 have already achieved recovery and are discharged from hospitals now.
