Kathmandu, August 28
The Parliamentary Hearing Special Committee has formally started a procedure to endorse three Foreign Ministry officials for their appointment as Nepal’s ambassadors to different countries.
Earlier, the cabinet had recommended Gehendra Rajbhandari for the ambassador to the European Union and Belgium, Tapas Adhikari to Pakistan, and Ram Kaji Khadka to Germany.
Following the recommendation, the House panel has asked the public to file their complaints against the nominees, if they have any, within the next 10 days.
Once the panel approves them, the president will appoint them.
