Janakpurdham, September 29
Province 2 Chief Minister Lalbabu Raut has decided to seek the vote of confidence in the Provincial Assembly on October 6.
He was required to prove the legislative body’s confidence in him to continue his government as the party he represented, Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal, split with the formation of the Loktantrik Samajbadi Party.
Raut is certain to obtain the vote as the constituents of the central coalition government also command the majority in the Provincial Assembly.
A meeting of the provincial council of ministers on Wednesday decided to summon the new session of the assembly next week and Chief Minister Raut will seek the vote on the first day, informs Finance Minister Shailendra Prasad Sah.
