Kathmandu, January 2
Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s wife Arzu Rana Deuba has met Indian ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s Foreign Affairs Department chief Vijay Chauthaiwale in New Delhi of India on Sunday.
Rana Deuba is said to be in the Indian capital on a personal visit, but analysts have kept an eye on her activities as Prime Minister Deuba is likely to visit India within weeks.
Chauthaiwale says he had a cordial meeting with Rana Deuba.

When the Indian leader was in Kathmandu in August 2021, the PM’s wife offered him a rakhi, a cultural symbol of siblinghood, on the occasion of Janai Purnima.
