Dhangadhi, January 3
The Kailali District Police Office has arrested Sudurpaschim Provincial Physical Infrastructure Development Minister Dirgha Bahadur Sodari’s son Bobby Sodari (23) on a vehicular homicide charge.
DSP Bed Prakash Joshi, the DPO spokesperson, says Sodari was arrested on Sunday in connection with a road accident in Tikapur of Kailali on December 17, 2021.
That day, a car driven by Sodari had hit and injured 99-year-old pedestrian Durga Devi Neupane. She had died during treatment after a week.
Although Sodari had agreed to bear the costs of Neupane’s treatment, he was out of contact since her death.
