A motorcyclist died in a road accident in the Butwal city of Rupandehi in Lumbini on Saturday night.
A Scorpio (Ba 19 Cha 9157) heading westwards from the Tinau bridge, Butwal sub-metropolitan city-2, hit a motorbike (Lu 24 Pa 2757) heading towards the opposite direction around midnight yesterday, according to police.
Basu Acharya (30), a resident of Sandhikharka municipality-1 of the district, riding on the motorbike, sustained critical injuries. Later, he died during treatment at the Lumbini Provincial Hospital, according to the Butwal Area Police Post.
