Infinix Smart 6 is the latest budget-range offering from Infinix. A new name in the market, Infinx has been releasing its smartphones time and again but is comparatively less active than other smartphone companies in Nepal. It specially offers budget-range smartphones.
The newly released Smart 6 is the continuity of the Infinix Smart series. The smart series was also the first smartphone series released from Infinx in Nepal. Design and display
Infinix Smart 6 has a glass front with a plastic back and a plastic frame. Infinix claims the back of the phone has been made with silver ions antibacterial material, which is said to make the back panel tougher and more resistant to germs. Also, the back panel has a simple layout with a camera module. The back panel also features a fingerprint sensor for security purposes.
The phone weighs 199 grams and is 8.5mm thick. It is available in purple ocean blue, light sea green and polar black colours.
On the front is a large 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720*1,600 pixels, and it is known as an HD+ display. The display can reach a peak brightness of up to 500 nits. Furthermore, the phone also supports the face unlock feature.
Cameras
Infinix Smart 6 features a dual camera on the back and a single selfie shooter on the front. The main 8MP camera on the back is housed together with a 0.8MP depth sensor. On the front is a 5MP selfie camera for taking selfies. This is just a basic setup for a budget phone.
For the video, the main camera of Infinix Smart 6 can record in 1080p resolution at 30 fps while the front camera can record videos in 720p at 30fps.
Performance and memory
Infinix Smart 6 runs on XOS 7.6 based on the Android 11 Go edition. The phone is powered by a Unisoc SC9863A (28nm) chipset while the graphics are handled by IMG8322.
The phone comes in a single variant of 2GB of RAM memory and 32GB of internal storage. The memory can be expanded with a microSD card and the phone has a dedicated slot for it.
Battery life, connectivity and others
Infinix Smart 6 has a massive 5,000mAh battery backup. This battery can provide the user with up to 87 hours of music, 31 hours of calling and 23 hours of videos. There is also a power marathon feature on the phone which offers three power-saving strategies. The strategies include power boost, ultra power mode and video power engine. This feature can provide up to 15 additional hours of battery life.
The phone supports dual sims for cellular connectivity. The phone also supports GPS, Bluetooth and FM radio. For charging and wired connectivity, the phone uses a micro USB 2.0. For audio, the phone offers loudspeakers as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack.
