Kathmandu, July 17
Police have arrested five people on the charge of removing and selling the kidneys of street kids in Kathmandu.
The racket enticed them into going to India along with them to remove and sell the kidneys, according to police.
The arrestees have been identified as Dhan Bahadur Roka from Ramechhap, Bijaya Kunwar from Gulmi, Dhupendra Shahi and Bimal Bahadur Shahi from Dailekh, and Ashish Tamang from Jhapa.
Police say they will be prosecuted as per the provision of the Human Trafficking and Transport (Control) Act, 2007.
