Dhangadhi, August 10
One person died in a motorbike accident in the Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city-3 of the Kailali district on Tuesday night.
The victim has been identified as Chitra Madai (28), a resident of the Jorayal rural municipality-1 of the Doti district. Madai was riding pillion on the two-wheeler (Se 2 Pa 5282) that got involved in the accident.
Seriously injured, Madai was rushed to the Maya Metro Hospital, which declared him dead upon arrival.
Meanwhile, the motorcyclist Santosh Malla (21), a resident of Jorayal rural municipality-1 of the district, has sustained injuries. He is undergoing treatment at the same health facility.
Madai’s body has been sent to the Seti Provincial Hospital for autopsy.
