Subaru is one of the oldest automobile manufacturing companies having a global reach. The Japanese corporation has been active in the automobile sector throughout the world for decades and has its operation in Nepal as well.
Vijay Motors Pvt Ltd is the authorised distributor of Subaru vehicles in Nepal and has been operating since 2004.
The brand claims that it has the highest brand loyalty value around the world including in Nepal as well. The company’s marketing is centred toward those who desire the brand’s signature drive train engine and all-wheel/rough-road capabilities. The company also claims that this is owed to its personalised customer service and the vehicles themselves.
The company is currently offering three SUV models in Nepal: XV, Forester and Outback. Let’s see what these SUVs offer.
Subaru XV
Also known as Crosstrek in some markets, XV is a car-based sub-compact crossover SUV. The XV is based on the Subaru Impreza hatchback and offers car-like handling, performance, and fuel efficiency in an SUV package. The vehicle comes with all of the brand’s proprietary technologies offering plenty of all-weather security for the users. This vehicle is said to provide good visibility for the drivers and its compact size allows it to manoeuvre through tight roads, which are very common in Nepal. Also, the 220mm ground clearance can make it a good choice for the rough terrains of Nepal.

Also, the Forester provides this feature without compromising driving dynamics like handling and body roll. This vehicle also offers larger windows, allowing better visibility for the drivers, and the company claims it has basically no blind spots. Like all models of the brand, Forester comes standard with all-wheel drive, which will be a better alternative, especially during off-road rides.
