Kathmandu, October 7
Three persons died after being buried by a landslide in the Chandragiri municipality on the western outskirts of Kathmandu on Thursday night.
The victims have been identified as Raju Shrestha (52), his wife Rekha (45) and their one-and-a-half-year-old daughter Sarathi, informs Bhai Krishna Tamang, the chairperson of Chandagiri’s ward 2.
The landslide had buried a meditation centre at Deurali, Chandragiri-2.
Ward chair Tamang says search efforts are still underway as some other people might be missing in the disaster.
