iQOO, the sub-brand of Vivo has released their new mid-range smartphone the iQOO Z7 Pro in India. The Z7 Pro is the pro model of the iQOO Z7 launched back in March. The pro option iQOO packs a punch in all aspects of the smartphone like design, colour, performance and display.
iQOO used to focus primarily on performance to please gamers. However, now with the introduction of the Z7 Pro, the brand has also upped its design and added a better camera making the phone ideal for any and everyone.

Design and display
The iQOO Z7 Pro has a sleek and stylish design while being thin at 7.36mm and weighing 175 grams. The back of the phone is made of glass and has a matte finish. There are two colour options; Blue Lagoon and Graphite Matte. The Blue Lagoon colour option resembles the waves of the ocean giving a refreshing vibe. The frame is made up of plastic and has a shiny finish.
The camera module is located in the top left corner and houses a dual-camera system. The camera module is curved and rectangular in shape and also houses an Aura ring light which is written below the second camera ring.
The iQOO Z7 Pro boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED display. Its 120Hz refresh rate helps in smooth and responsive performance, while HDR10+ support enhances contrast. With a peak brightness of 1,300 nits, it remains visible even in bright and sunny conditions. The resolution is 1,080 x 2,400 pixels and offers a 90.4 per cent screen-to-body ratio.
Performance and storage
The iQOO Z7 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 5G Mobile Platform, featuring an octa-core CPU configuration with two high-performance Cortex-A715 cores clocked at 2.8 GHz and six power-efficient Cortex-A510 cores. Its graphics are handled by the Mali-G610 MC4 GPU. It runs on the latest Android 13 with the Funtouch OS.
It is available in one 8GB RAM option with two storage options of either 128 GB or 256 GB.
Camera
The iQOO Z7 Pro comes equipped with a dual-camera system. On the rear, it features a 64 MP main camera with an f/1.79 aperture with OIS. Additionally, there’s a 2 MP Bokeh camera for creating a captivating background blur.
Whether you’re shooting in bright daylight or low-light conditions, the camera setup is further enhanced by flash support called the Aura ring light. The AURA Light feature is more effective than a regular flash and provides you with the best shot on portraits.
For video recording, the rear camera supports 4K@30fps and 1,080p@30fps.
On the front, the 16 MP selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture. It supports 1,080p@30fps video recording.
The iQOO Z7 Pro provides a wide array of features for its rear camera, including modes like sports, night, portrait, photo, video, 64MP, panorama, slow motion, time lapse, pro, live photo, document, and dual-view video. The front camera offers modes such as portrait, photo, night, video, and dual-view video.
Battery and others
The iQOO Z7 Pro comes equipped with a 4,600mAh battery. It supports fast charging at 66W, allowing you to quickly top up your device. For connectivity, it features Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6 for internet access and Bluetooth 5.3 for wireless connections.
The phone is equipped with various sensors, including an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, e-compass, in-display fingerprint sensor, and gyroscope sensor. It supports dual nano SIM cards for versatile network options.
