Kathmandu, October 30
A school principal was shot dead in Kalaiya sub-metropolitan city-6 of Bara on Monday.
Rupesh Swarnakar (Guddu), the principal of Bal Ekta English Boarding School, was seriously injured when a group opened fire in the afternoon.
After being shot, he was initially taken to Kalaiya Hospital for treatment. However, when it became clear that they were unable to provide the necessary care, he was subsequently transferred to Bayodha Hospital.
He sustained four gunshot wounds in his neck and chest.
