Janakpurdham, December 19
A farmer working in his field in Saptari district has died following an attack by a wild buffalo.
The incident occurred in Hanumannagar Kankalini Municipality-9, where Subhelal Mandal was fatally injured by a wild buffalo that had strayed from the Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve.
According to Saptari Police, the attack happened on Wednesday while Mandal was working in his field. Although locals rushed him for medical treatment immediately after the attack, he succumbed to his injuries.
