Kathmandu, July 18
The Nepal Airlines’ Airbus 320, grounded for 12 days after receiving a bird hit, resumed flights from Monday after undergoing maintenance. The plane took off for Bangkok from the Tribhuvan International Airport at 11.53 am with 129 passengers on board, it is learnt.
Twelve days ago, the plane had received a bird hit as it was about to take off from the runway. No one was injured in the incident.
Of the four NA planes meant for international operations, one Boeing is beyond repair. The NA had revised its flight schedule after another Boeing received a bird hit.
