A Mountain Air helicopter en route to Kathmandu from Gorkha has made emergency landing in Nuwakot.
The helicopter (9n AAWQ) was landed near Budhisang, Mahadevsthan, local police said. Five people, including crew, were on board.
According to officials, the pilot detected that there was something wrong with the engine, and decided not to continue the journey.
The incident comes just three days after a Fishtail Air chopper crashed in Nuwakot’s Madanpur killing seven people.
