Kathmandu, July 28
The Indian government has said it is ready to provide any kind of support Nepal requests to deal with the flood and landslides in the country.
India’s External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Vikas Swarup, responding to a question by a journalist, said, “India expresses deep sorrow at the loss life and property in the current spate of floods and landslides in Nepal.
He added that the floods have also affect life and property on the Indian side.
“The government of India stands ready to provide any assistance that may be requested by the government of Nepal to mitigate the suffering of the people.”
