Kathmandu, July 17
The Ram Chandra Poudel camp in the Nepali Congress has called party President Sher Bahadur Deuba to convene a meeting of the party Central Working Committee to discuss the serious issue of government formation.
The camp says the matter calls for serious deliberation at the apex committee.
Party senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel, treasurer Sita Devi Yadav, former general secretary Prakash Man Singh and leader Ram Sharan Mahat advised this to Deuba during a meeting with the latter at his Budhanilkantha residence on Sunday. They urged the Congress chief to take important decisions only after consulting the central committee.
The delegates also asked Deuba to give full shape to the committee and constitute departments.
NC leader Mahat said: The meeting with Deuba dwelt on the no-confidence motion filed against the government in the Parliament and other contemporary political issues.
