Kathmandu, July 18
The Band of the Brigade of Gurkhas will play for 25 minutes on the Main Ground during the interval of the Nepal-MCC cricket match at Lord’s in the UK on Tuesday.
According to the club, the First Naumati Baja Gulmi (a traditional Nepali pipe band), will also play from 9:45am until play commences at 10:30am local time. The site where they will play is yet to be confirmed, says the club, one of the oldest in the world.
Nepal’s national cricket team are playing against the MCC as part of the bicentenary celebrations of Nepal-UK friendship.
