Kathmandu, July 31
President Bidhya Devi Bhandari has met leaders of top three political parties at her office in Shital Niwas on Sunday, ahead of her deadline to form a government of national consensus.
Following Prime Minister KP Oli’s resignation last week, the President, in keeping with tradition, had given political parties seven days to name a consensus candidate for the post. The deadline is set to expire today.
