Kathmandu, July 17
Nepali Congress General Secretary Shashank Koirala, who was hospitalised two weeks ago after vomiting profusely, will be discharged on Wednesday.
According to doctors attending to the the senior politician at Om Hospital, Koirala is on antibiotics and will complete his prescribed dose on Wednesday.
“Koirala is gradually recuperating,” Dr Laba Joshi told Onlinekhabar. According to Joshi, Koirala can now eat on his own. He is, however, under observation.
Joshi said Koirala has not been updated on the political developments in the country, and his family wants this to continue for sometime.
Koirala was rushed to Om Hospital on July 5, and was diagnosed with pneumonia. He was on life support for several days.
