Kathmandu, November 2
Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited says it has appointed Vidya Kumar as the new chief finance officer.
Prior to this, she was the business finance partner for retail banking and wealth management at Standard Chartered Bank, United Arab Emirates.
Kumar started her professional career in 1998 with ICICI Bank in India and has also worked with JP Morgan India, the bank says in a statement, “In a career of over 19 years, she has vast experience within banking in the areas of finance, performance management, financial planning and analysis, strategic financial advisory through transformation, business information management and controls.
She is a chartered accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in India.
