Nepali Congress leader Narhari Acharya passed out when he reached late NC President Sushil Koirala’s residence to pay tributes to him on Monday morning. Apparently, Acharya had paralysis when he was talking to the media.
Aware of Acharya’s condition, NC lawmaker Bhimsen Das Pradhan got hold of Acharya. With his gestures, Acharya asked Pradhan to rush him to hospital.
After receiving treatment at Gangalal Hospital, Acharya is now under treatment at Neuro Hospital in Bansbari. Pradhan told Onlinekhabar: Acharya had difficulty moving his hand and feet while he was on board the vehicle that was taking him to hospital. At Gangalal, Acharya’s blood pressure was 220/130. According to doctors, blood has clotted in Acharya’s right lobe and he has his right body part paralysed. “Doctors have said Acharya will recover. But it will take time,” Pradhan said.
