Pokhara, February 24
Family members of those on board the missing Tara Air flight have gathered around Pokhara airport to gather information on the whereabouts of the plane.
People close to those 23 passenger and crew member on board could be seen grieving at the airport premises this morning. The Tara Air flight with call sign 9-AHH had taken off from Pokhara at 7.55 am for Jomsom this morning. The airport traffic control tower at Jomsom airport had lost contact with the aircraft shortly before landing.
Two helicopters — one private and the other belonging to the Nepali Army — have deployed for the search of the missing plane.
Tara Air had purchased the plane that went missing in September, 2015.
