Kathmandu, March 8
Like in previous years, the country is celebrating the 108th International Women’s Day by organising different programmes.
On March 8, 1911 Clara Jetkin raised voices against exploitation of women workers. The day marks that occasion.
In Nepal too, different organisations working for women and girls’ rights organisations organise programmes, including rallies and interactions, to mark the occasion.
The government has declared this day a holiday.
