Kathmandu, March 13
Women from 46 countries are participating in a six-day conference on issues and challenges facing women around the world.
According to the organisers, the event will be inaugurated by Speaker Onsari Gharti amid a programme in Kathmandu later today.
MP Meena Pun, who is part of the organising committee, said an event showcasing the culture of participating countries will be organised on the inaugural day, and different seminars will be conducted from tomorrow. The programme will conclude on Friday by issuing a Kathmandu Declaration. Around 600-700 women from around the world are expected to attend the event.
