Kathmandu, March 28
Police have arrested two foreigners with liquid cocaine. According to police, this is the first seizure of liquid cocaine in Nepal.
A police team arrested South African national M Pathuni and Indian national Mirsi with 2.7 kg of cocaine from Chhetrapati, Kathmandu. Police said the seized narcotics is worth Rs 5.4 crores.
According to police, the drug was brought in shampoo bottles from Brazil. The two had landed in Kathmandu from Dubai on a Fly Dubai flight on March 24.
Police seized three shampoo bottles containing more than 1 kg of cocaine from Pathuni, while they seized a bottle containing about 700 gm of cocaine from Mirsi.
