Kathmandu, April 3
Police on Sunday morning rescued a 24-year-old American national, who was trying to jump off the fifth floor of a hotel in Thamel. A preliminary investigation shows the American was a drug addict, police said. She is receiving treatment at Civic Hospital in Lazimpat.
She had taken Vipasyana lessons for a few days in Butwal, in her bid to quit drugs.
