Kathmandu, July 11
Police have arrested a young woman for posting obscene photos on Facebook by creating fake accounts.
On Saturday, they nabbed Ganga Chand Thakuri (27), who hails from Bheri Ganga municipality-14, Surkhet, in response to complaints from users, who had accused her of character assassination. Thakuri faces charges of posting obscene pictures and tagging her friends and relatives.
Police said they have sent Thakuri to the Metropolitan Police Complex Kathmandu for further action in accordance with Electronic Transaction Act.
