The Supreme Court on Friday described Prachanda government’s reply in response to its demand for submission of original documents on the appointment of Lok Man Singh Karki as Chief Commissioner, Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority, as irresponsible.
The Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers, responding to the court order to present the Lok Man dossier, had said it got misplaced during last year’s earthquakes.
The court ordered the government to produce the documents within seven days or be ready to face legal action as per Justice Administration Act.
