Kathmandu, March 14
Former Finance Secretary Rameshwor Khanal, who played an instrumental role in devising the Baburam Bhattarai–led Naya Shakti’s economic policy, has quit the party.
Khanal tweeted on Tuesday evening that he was no longer associated with any political party. He, however, did not elaborate on why he decided to leave the party.
Khanal has also not given any details to the media on why he took the decision.
