New Delhi, April 17
President Bidya Devi Bhandari landed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi on Monday morning as she embarked on her maiden visit to India,
India’s Minister of State for Women and Child Development Krishna Raj was at the airport to receive President Bhandari.
Prior to this, Nepal’s Ambassador for India Deep Kumar Upadhyay welcomed the President.
The President then headed to the Rastrapati Bhawan where she is to stay as a state guest.
