Chitwan, January 5
CPN-Maoist Centre Chairman and newly elected House of Representatives member from Chitwan-3, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, says he will develop his district as the country’s ‘financial capital’.
Dahal says the district has all foundations for economic prosperity, therefore Chitwan will rise as the centre of economic activities in the country.
“Chitwan’s poultry farmers have made the country independent in the industry. This district has a wide potential for production of dairy products, vegetables, mustard as well as fish farming and animal husbandry.”
Speaking at a function in the district this morning, he also claimed that efforts were underway to make the district provincial capital of Province 3.
Meanwhile, Dahal renewed assurances that the country now would move towards an economic revolution as the phase of political revolution has been over.
