Kaski, February 7
A leopard has killed a girl in Pokhara of Kaski district.
The wild beast attacked and killed nine-year-old Puja BK of Kothegaun, Pokhara metropolitan city-32, on Thursday night, shares Police Inspector at the District Police Office, Narahari Adhikari.
Her parents Deepak and Apsara BK had immediately searched for Puja after she did not return home till the evening. Police personnel and locals had intensified the search for the missing girl.
Later, her body was found in a forest nearby the village, Adhikari informs. However, the man-eater leopard has not been spotted yet despite efforts.
Recently, a few similar incidents had been reported from the neighbouring Tanahun district.
