Nepal Covid-19 tally hits 548 with 32 new cases

Kathmandu, May 23

The Ministry of Health and Population says the number of coronavirus infected cases in the country has reached 548 as of 8:40 am Saturday.

The ministry’s joint spokesperson Sameer Kumar Adhikari says 32 new cases have been confirmed this morning. Of them, 13 cases are from Sarlahi, eight from Rupandehi, eight from Kapilvastu, and one each from Bara, Kathmandu, and Chitwan district.

Late on Friday evening, the ministry had reported nine additional cases including six in Bara, and one each in Makawanpur, Bhaktapur, and Saptari.
